General and mandatory Information
Data collection and logging
By using our website you consent to the collection, processing and use of data as described below. You can visit our website without registering. When you visit our website, we store data such as the visited pages or file names, date and time for statistical purposes; this data cannot be used to identify any particular individual. We collect personal data, in particular name, address or email address if possible based on your freely given consent. We will not pass this data on to third parties without your consent.
Where we need your personal data to allow you to take advantage of special offers on our website, this data will be stored on servers within the territorial scope of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and processed solely in connection with the offer or anonymised for statistical purposes. We may forward the data to another company within our group of companies. We will not pass your data on to any other third parties without your consent.
By providing us voluntarily with your personal data to use the special service you also consent to the scope of use.
Withdrawal of your consent to data processing
Some data processing operations can only be carried out with your express consent. You have the right to withdraw a previously given consent at any time. To withdraw your consent it is sufficient to send us an email without following any procedural requirements. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive the data we process based on your consent or on a contract by automated means in a commonly used and machine-readable format and you have the right to transmit those data to another controller. In exercising your right to data portability, you have the right to have the personal data transmitted directly from one controller to another, where technically feasible.
Right of access, rectification, blocking, erasure
SSL or TLS encryption
This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content sent to us as a website operator. As a result, third parties will not be able to read any data you transmit through our website. You can recognise an encrypted connection in your browser's address bar when it changes to “https://” and the lock icon appears in your browser's address bar.
Data collection and logging (server log files)
The website provider uses server log files to collect and store data, which is transmitted to us automatically through your browser. These data include:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
The data obtained in this way will not be linked to other data sources. The legal basis for processing, which is necessary for the performance of a contract or implementation of pre-contractual measures is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
For reasons of technical security, in particular, to prevent attacks on our web server, we store this data for short periods of time. This data cannot be used to identify any particular individual. After seven days at the latest, the data will be anonymised by truncating the IP address at the domain level, so that it is no longer possible, even with the help of additional data, to identify an individual user. In anonymous form, the data is also processed for statistical purposes; we will not associate the data with other databases or transfer the data to third parties, whether in whole or in part. The information about the number of views is only included in the context of our server statistics, which we publish every two years in our activity Report.
Data submitted via the contact form, including your contact details, will be stored to process your request or to answer any follow-up questions. We will not disclose this data to third parties without your consent.
You provide us with the data voluntarily to assist us in processing your query. We process the data you enter into the contact form exclusively based on your consent to the processing of personal data (Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You have the right to withdraw a previously given consent at any time. To withdraw your consent it is sufficient to send us an email without following any procedural requirements. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of data processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
We will keep the data submitted through the contact form until you ask us to erase the data, withdraw your consent to storage of your data or the data is no longer needed for the purpose for which it has been collected. This is without prejudice to mandatory provisions and in particular, statutory retention requirements.
